The Elders have appointed Roy Chang as the Sunday Gatherings Pastor & Music Director starting on 7 December 2020.
In consultation with the Senior Pastor, Roy will oversee Bukit Arang’s Sunday Gatherings and Music ministry to move people towards King Jesus through the prayerful speaking and singing of God’s Word.
As the Sunday Gatherings Pastor for our English congregations, Roy will focus on shaping the various components in our weekly gatherings to reflect Bukit Arang’s vision and mission. His pastoral responsibilities include preaching, equipping our members and leading our Sunday service teams.
As the Music Director, Roy will lead and equip our Sunday music teams to plan and select congregational songs with rich biblical content. He will also support the music ministries in the various age group ministries.
Roy was a member of Bethesda Katong Church for 18 years before joining Living Praise Presbyterian church for 12 years where he served on the pastoral staff as pastor for youth, Sunday School, and Men’s ministry. He was also the Sunday service and music team leader. Roy is married to Ailin and they have five lovely children. We thank God for His provision and selection of Roy to take up this role.
