Marriage is a wonderful gift from God! We want to see Christian marriages thrive, and reflect the love of Christ for his church.
For couples looking towards marriage, every year Bukit Arang holds a marriage preparation course over 2 Saturdays to learn important Biblical principles to develop life-long foundations for Christ-centred marriages, and practical skills to equip you for marriage.
This course is designed to help couples hear what the Bible has to say about God’s plan for marriage, and how our marriages are not to serve ourselves but to serve God.
The Pre-marital course at Bukit Arang is open for couples who are both committed Christians, in one of the following situations:
This course will run over two Saturdays, from 9am to 5pm. Please commit to attending both full days.
Participants are asked to complete some pre-reading before attending the two days of the course. Please read the book “Married for God” by Christopher Ash together as a couple, discussing the contents of each chapter as you go. The book is available for purchase from the BA book table after Sunday Gatherings, or you’re welcome to source and purchase a copy elsewhere.
There is a course fee of $50 per couple (not per person) to cover the cost of lunches for both Saturdays.
All couples who register for this course will also be asked to fill out a survey about their relationship. The survey can be accessed here.
